If you've had hail damage done to your Dover, NJ commercial building, you know this type of storm damage isn't pretty. What you might not know is that hail can actually cause a variety of problems for your building.

The damages usually fall into two different categories. It's either functional or cosmetic damage. Functional damage is something that will affect the performance of your building, usually the roofing system. Cosmetic damage is something that only affects the look of your building.

Here is a list of the common damages caused by hail during a storm

  • Damaged Siding: The siding of your building could also get damaged by hail. If this happens, the insulation in your walls could get exposed to water damage. If wet insulation isn't addressed quickly, it could lead to mold growth and other issues.
